Rental Terms of Service

TERMS OF SERVICE

Fantaisie Gaze (“We”, “Our”, “Us”) hereby leases for a specified period to the below named person (“Renter”, “You”, “Your”), and Renter hereby rents from Fantaisie Gaze, the garment(s) described on the Rent Form on the terms and conditions set forth herein for the time period indicated (“Pull-Out Date”/”Return Date”). All garments shall remain the property of Fantaisie Gaze and must be returned upon demand.

Fantaisie Gaze liability under this Rent shall in all cases, including without limitation, failure of delivery of the garment, be limited to the return of all sums paid by Renter to Fantaisie Gaze on account of the rental provided herein.

1.0 RENTAL TERMS OF SERVICE 

1.1 The complete rental includes the rented garment, necessary packaging, and cleaning, steaming and pressing services.

1.2 The rental price of the garment is to be paid up front to confirm reservation (“Rental Price”). The Rental Price does not include freight costs.

1.3 The standard rental period shall be five (5) calendar days, starting from the Pull-Out Date, regardless if it is received earlier than intended.

1.4 The return date shall be the agreed return date (“Return Date”), 5 days from the Pull-Out Date.

1.5 Renter must be at least 18 years old, otherwise, a signed parent authorization  letter is required.

1.6 A scanned copy of Renter’s government-issued valid ID must be sent after confirmation of order via email. If below 18, a parent or guardian’s ID will do. 

1.7  A scanned copy of a government-issued valid ID of a contact person related to Renter must also be provided along with the Renter's ID. 

2.0 SECURITY DEPOSIT

2.1 All rentals require a security deposit which shall be as discussed (“Security Deposit”).

2.2 The Security Deposit is to be paid up front along with the Rental Price, and will be refunded in full, once the rented garment is returned in original condition without faults or damages, on Return Date. 

2.3 If the rented garment is damaged upon return, the damage will be assessed and Renter shall be informed of the repair cost. The repair cost will be deducted from the Security Deposit. 

2.4 Should the garment be damaged beyond repair or lost (in the care of the Renter), the Renter will need to make a payment equivalent to the full retail price of the piece (x10 of Rental Price), less the Security Deposit.

2.5 The Renter is not responsible if the garment gets lost during transit from our studio to Renter and will still receive the full Security Deposit after evaluation.  

3.0 MODE OF PAYMENT

3.1 The Rental Price and Security Deposit are only payable through online transfer via GCash, Maya, BDO, or PayPal. 

4.0 CANCELLATION

4.1 If Renter wishes to cancel a reservation greater than 7 days before the shipment date, only 75% of the Rental Price, and the Security Deposit will be refunded while the remaining 25% will be forfeited.

4.2 If Renter wishes to cancel within 7 days before the shipment date, the full Rental Price will be incurred.

4.3 If Renter wishes to switch to another available garment, the Rental Price will now be the price of the new garment, and 25% of the Rental Price of the initially reserved piece will be charged as a restocking fee.

4.4 No credits are offered if the garment was not worn by Renter. 

5.0 SHIPPING & DELIVERY

5.1 The shipment of the garment will be done at least 1 week before the garment is intended to be worn (“Date of Use”). Fantaisie Gaze is not liable if the garment does not arrive on time due to courier delays, natural calamities, government interventions, or occurrences outside of our control, as all shipments are shipped promptly with the courier’s standard lead time in mind. Renter may just just return the garment, or request for another rental period with a new reservation.

5.2 Should the Goods Receipt Date be earlier than the Date of Use, the Renter may just keep the garment without additional fees. The Return Date remains the same.

5.3 Fantaisie Gaze insures each shipment made and thus shall not be held liable if the garment gets lost in transit. A full refund of the Rental Price and the Security Deposit will only take place once the courier reimburses the insurance coverage.

5.4 If the return gets lost in transit from Renter to our studio without courier insurance, the garment will be considered as a sale to be paid by the Renter minus the Rental Price and Security Deposit. Retail price is Rental Price x 10). 

5.5 The garment must be shipped back the same way it was delivered–in exactly the same packaging, condition, and courier. If the Renter fails to follow the return instructions, Renter will be charged accordingly should any issue arise concerning the shipment and the condition of the garment itself.

6.0 USE OF PRODUCT

6.1 Minor wear and tears are covered by the Rental Price. This encompasses minor stains and rips, missing beads, stuck zipper, or other minor damages.

6.2 Renter is responsible for loss, destruction, and damage to the product due to theft, fire, major stains, and any other causes aside from minor wear and tears.

6.3 If the garment is returned with damages beyond minor wear and tear or is permanently altered, then you hereby authorize us to charge you for the price of repairing the garment, or replacing it, as determined in our discretion, up to the full retail price of the garment. 

6.4 Should you rent a garment in place of another wearer, you are still recognized to bear full liability of the garment and is subject to the rental terms.

7.0 LAUNDRY

7.1 The rented garment is already cleaned and ready-to-wear. 

7.2 Renter is not allowed to clean the garment by themselves or professionally. The garment must be returned to us uncleaned and unaltered. It is in our discretion to assess the garment should there be any damages.

7.3 Fantaisie Gaze shall not be held liable for health-related complaints associated with a garment rented from us.

8.0 LATE RETURN & PENALTY

8.1 If the garment is not shipped back on the Return Date without our consent, a late return fee of Php500/day will be charged until the garment is received back, and will be deducted from the Security Deposit.

8.2 A penalty fee of Php750 will be charged and deducted from the Security Deposit if the hanger or garment bag is not returned together with the rented garment on the Return Date.

8.3 Fantaisie Gaze reserves the right to charge the Renter for any damage for the breach of Rental Agreement if the breach causes any loss to us. 

9.0 GENERAL

9.1 Failure to return the piece or settle any incurred charges will result to the involvement of necessary authorities for settlement.

9.2 Fantaisie Gaze reserves the right to amend the Rental Policy from time to time without prior notice.
