Fantaisie Gaze is a clothing label designed by Frankie Lapiz. Originally founded in 2020 under the name Gaza, the self-taught designer started the brand with reworked pieces and eventually expanded to producing fashion collections and custom pieces. In 2023, she made a big step to rebrand with a clearer pursuit of carrying out her principles: (1) tell stories through her collections, (2) foster creative appreciation of clothing instead of materialism, and (3) promote slow fashion by manifesting a paradigm of a modern-day couturier. 

Frankie considers her designs to be eclectic being heavily inspired by diverse influences. From her own childhood basked by fairytales, to the mid-century fashion, all evoking a feeling of femininity and nostalgia with kitsch and romantic details. Every piece is individually cut and sewn in Davao City, Philippines by independent garment workers with ethicality and craftsmanship in mind.
